IPTV With RedZone: Every Legal Way to Stream NFL RedZone in 2026

Short answer: NFL RedZone is available on several licensed internet TV services, and the cheapest route is not a TV package at all: NFL+ Premium, at $14.99 a month or $99.99 for the season, streams RedZone to phones, tablets and TV devices. Live-TV services such as YouTube TV, Sling, Fubo and DirecTV sell it as a sports add-on. The catch is that RedZone only shows the scoring moments of Sunday afternoon games; it doesn't replace access to your local team's full broadcast, and it doesn't cover Thursday, Sunday night or Monday games.

What RedZone is, and isn't

NFL RedZone is a live whip-around channel. From the first Sunday kick-off until the late games finish, it jumps between games to show every touchdown and every team inside the 20-yard line, commercial-free. When two games are live at once, it splits the screen.

It is on for about seven hours a week. Sunday afternoons during the regular season only, from roughly 1pm to 8pm Eastern.

It isn't full games. If you want to watch your own team from kick-off to final whistle, you need the channel carrying that game: CBS or Fox locally, or NFL Sunday Ticket for out-of-market games.

It isn't prime time. Thursday, Sunday and Monday night games and the playoffs are not on RedZone.

It's also worth not confusing it with DirecTV's older "Red Zone Channel", which was a separate product with the same idea. Today's RedZone is the NFL's own channel.

Every legal route, compared

Prices checked in September 2026. Live-TV prices are base plan plus the add-on that includes RedZone.

Route Approx. cost What else you get
NFL+ Premium $14.99/month or $99.99/season NFL Network, game replays, local and prime-time games on phones
ESPN Unlimited + NFL+ Premium About $42/month Full ESPN family, Monday Night Football
Sling (base + Sports Extra) From about $31/month Cable channels; local channels limited
Fubo + RedZone add-on About $75/month Local CBS, Fox, NBC; ESPN
YouTube TV + Sports Plus About $76/month on the sports plan Local channels, multiview
DirecTV + MySports Extra About $79/month Local channels, broad sports line-up
Hulu + Live TV + sports add-on About $100/month Disney+, ESPN, local channels

If you already pay for a live-TV service, the add-on is usually the simplest choice. If you don't, NFL+ Premium is far cheaper.

NFL+ Premium: the cheap route

The NFL's own subscription has two tiers. The standard NFL+ plan, at $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year, includes NFL Network and live local and prime-time games, but only on phones and tablets. Premium adds RedZone, full-game replays and the NFL Pro analytics service.

RedZone on NFL+ works on televisions. Unlike live games in NFL+, which are restricted to mobile devices, RedZone streams on connected-TV devices through the NFL app, including Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV and Google TV.

The season pass is the best value. At $99.99 for the season, it costs less than seven months of the monthly plan, and the season is roughly five months long. Cancel auto-renewal after buying if you only want one season.

It's US-only. NFL+ is available in the United States but not in US territories. Outside the US, the NFL's international streaming service is NFL Game Pass on DAZN.

RedZone in a live-TV service

If you prefer RedZone to appear in a normal channel guide, alongside local CBS and Fox, a live-TV service is the way.

YouTube TV sells it in the Sports Plus add-on, which also includes Fox Soccer Plus and other extra channels. Multiview lets you put RedZone next to your local game on one screen, which is the most popular way to use it.

Sling is the cheapest live-TV route, through its Sports Extra add-on. Local channels are limited, though, so pair it with an antenna.

Fubo and DirecTV both offer RedZone as part of a sports add-on, with local channels included in the base plan.

What ESPN's takeover changed

ESPN completed its acquisition of NFL Network in early 2026, and took over distributing RedZone to TV providers. The NFL kept the production of the channel and its own digital distribution through NFL+.

For viewers, two practical results followed. NFL Network now streams inside ESPN Unlimited, from July 2026. And ESPN sells a bundle of ESPN Unlimited and NFL+ Premium, which puts Monday Night Football, NFL Network and RedZone behind one purchase. ESPN Unlimited on its own does not include RedZone.

What to pair it with

RedZone covers the whip-around. Most fans want at least one of these alongside it.

An antenna for local CBS, Fox and NBC. That brings in your local team on Sunday afternoon, Sunday Night Football and many late-season games at no monthly cost. See local channels without cable.

NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube for out-of-market teams. It shows full games, not highlights, and it's priced separately. Our guide to Sunday Ticket's 2026 price has the figures.

Prime Video and Netflix for Thursday Night Football and the Christmas games respectively, and ESPN for Monday nights.

Is RedZone worth paying for?

RedZone suits some viewers perfectly and others not at all. It helps to be honest about which you are.

Fantasy players get the most from it. If you have players spread across eight games, RedZone shows you almost every scoring play that affects your team, as it happens. That's the audience it was designed for.

Neutral fans who like drama. Late in the afternoon, when several games are close, RedZone cuts to whichever finish is tightest. Many people who try it find ordinary broadcasts slow afterwards.

Single-team fans often don't need it. If you only care about one team and it's local, the antenna broadcast gives you every snap. RedZone will cut away from your game whenever something happens elsewhere.

Households with mixed tastes. Seven hours of rapid switching isn't everyone's idea of a Sunday. A second screen, a tablet on the coffee table, is how many families compromise.

Because NFL+ Premium can be bought monthly, the lowest-risk approach is a single month early in the season. If you find yourself watching it every week, the season pass is better value from the following year.

Getting the most from a Sunday

Use a wired connection. RedZone switches between feeds constantly, and a stream that hesitates at every switch spoils the point.

Set up multiview. On YouTube TV and some other services, RedZone alongside your local game is the best of both.

Sign in on Saturday. Authenticating the NFL app or a TV-provider login at 12.55pm on a Sunday is when things go wrong.

Be wary of "RedZone included" IPTV offers. Unless the seller is one of the services above, it isn't licensed. The NFL and its partners enforce their rights actively, and unlicensed streams tend to fail at the busiest time. See how to spot an IPTV scam.
