Short answer: watching the big European leagues legally in the US costs about $36 a month if you stack Peacock, Paramount+ and ESPN Select, and the Bundesliga is mostly free on top. That's less than half of what one sports-heavy live-TV package costs. The catch is that it's never one app: US soccer rights are split across six media companies, so any "IPTV for soccer" plan claiming every league in one subscription isn't licensed for any of them.
At a glance
What soccer costs to stream, 2026-27
| Premier League only | Peacock Premium, $12.99/mo |
| UEFA + Serie A + English cups | Paramount+, from $8.99/mo |
| La Liga + FA Cup | ESPN Select, about $14/mo |
| Bundesliga | Mostly free on Fandango |
| Big-five Europe, full season | About $360 a year, cancelling in summer |
Price per competition
This is the table nobody selling "soccer IPTV" will show you. US English-language rights for 2026-27, with the cheapest legal way into each.
| Competition | Rights holder | Cheapest way in | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premier League | NBCUniversal | Peacock Premium (about 175 exclusive games), plus NBC over the air | $12.99 |
| Champions, Europa, Conference League | CBS / Paramount | Paramount+ Essential (every match) | $8.99 |
| Serie A | CBS / Paramount | Paramount+ (all 380 matches) | Same sub |
| La Liga | ESPN | ESPN Select (formerly ESPN+) | About $14 |
| Bundesliga | Versant (USA Sports) | Fandango, free for most games; 30+ on USA Network | $0 |
| Ligue 1 | beIN Sports | Fanatiz; selected games free on Tubi | About $8 |
| MLS | Apple | Standard Apple TV subscription, every match, no blackouts | $12.99 |
Two changes caught people out this season. The Bundesliga left ESPN+ after six years, and most matches now stream free on Fandango with selected games on USA Network. And MLS Season Pass is gone: every match is now inside a normal Apple TV subscription. Our league-by-league overview, soccer on IPTV in the US, has more on who shows what; this page is about the bill.
Peacock's price is the newest figure here. Premium went to $12.99 on 17 September 2026, so older guides quoting $10.99 are out of date.
Cups, second tiers and the women's game
The secondary competitions mostly ride along with subscriptions you'd already have.
| Competition | Where |
|---|---|
| FA Cup | ESPN Select |
| Carabao Cup | Paramount+, final on CBS Sports Network |
| EFL Championship | Paramount+ |
| Women's Super League | Paramount+ |
| Liga MX | Split club by club across TUDN/ViX, Telemundo/Peacock and Fox |
Paramount+ is the quiet value pick. One $8.99 subscription covers three UEFA club competitions, Serie A, the Championship, the Carabao Cup and the WSL. If you follow an English club outside the top flight, it's the only app you need.
Pay only when your league is playing
Every service above is monthly with no contract, which makes the soccer calendar your best discount.
European leagues run from mid-August to late May. Pausing Peacock, ESPN Select and Paramount+ for June and July saves two months a year, or about $72 for the three-app stack. In a summer with no men's World Cup or Euros, there's very little to miss.
The Bundesliga winter break runs from just before Christmas to mid-January. Not a cost issue now that most games are free, but worth knowing before you assume a stream is broken.
The Champions League league phase starts in mid-September and the knockout rounds run February to May. If you only care about the business end, subscribing February to May costs about $36.
MLS runs from late February to the MLS Cup in early December. Apple TV can go on hold for the winter.
Set a calendar reminder for the renewal date, not the cancel date. Most of these services renew on the same day each month, and cancelling the day after renewal buys you nothing.
Three costed setups
| Fan | Apps | Per year (10 months) |
|---|---|---|
| Premier League supporter | Peacock Premium, antenna for NBC games | About $130 |
| European all-rounder | Peacock, Paramount+, ESPN Select, free Bundesliga | About $360 |
| MLS plus Champions League | Apple TV (Feb-Dec) and Paramount+ (Sept-May) | About $210 |
Compare that with a live-TV package kept all year. Fubo's Sports plan was listed at $64.99 a month in 2026, which is about $780 a year before any add-ons, and it still wouldn't include Peacock's exclusive Premier League games or most of Paramount+'s matches. For the full cost picture across sports, see the cheapest way to watch the Premier League in the US.
When a live-TV package is worth it
YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling and Fubo carry channels, not apps. For soccer, that means USA Network (Premier League and Bundesliga featured games), the ESPN networks, CBS, Fox and FS1 (some MLS), and beIN Sports on some plans.
That's useful in two cases. One, you want the USA Network Premier League games without an antenna for NBC. Two, you already pay for live TV for the NFL or college sports, and soccer is a bonus.
It's poor value bought for soccer alone. Most of the season happens in streaming apps that no channel package can carry, because those matches were never on a channel. Our IPTV vs Fubo comparison goes through what the sports-first package does and doesn't include.
If you watch in Spanish
Spanish-language rights are sold separately and the map looks different.
Telemundo, Universo and Peacock carry the Premier League in Spanish, and Peacock streams every Bundesliga match in Spanish.
ESPN Select carries La Liga with Spanish commentary as well as English.
TUDN, Univision and ViX hold a large part of Liga MX, alongside Telemundo and Fox for some clubs.
For a Spanish-first household, Peacock plus ViX is often a better pair than the English stack above. See our guide to Spanish-language TV in the USA.
The "every league, $15 a month" offers
The pages ranking for this search mostly sell one product: a cheap monthly subscription claiming every league, every cup and beIN, Sky and DAZN from around the world. None of the sellers hold soccer rights in the US. The rights holders are the six companies in the table above, and they don't sublicense to anonymous resellers.
The weak point is the same one their own pages warn about: kick-off load. Saturday at 10am Eastern, millions of fans hit the same handful of matches. Licensed apps are built for that peak. Unlicensed servers are taken down mid-match during exactly those games, because that's when leagues' anti-piracy teams are watching. Prepaid annual plans then disappear with the server.
And the saving is smaller than it looks. The three-app European stack works out around $30 a month averaged over a year once you skip the summer. If an offer still tempts you, read how to spot an IPTV scam first.
Matchday setup
Peacock, Paramount+, ESPN, Apple TV and Fandango all have apps on Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Google TV and most current smart TVs. A few things make Saturday mornings smoother.
Group the apps in one row on the home screen, so flipping between a Peacock game and a Paramount+ game is two clicks.
Use multiview where it exists. Peacock and ESPN have offered multi-game views on some devices for big matchdays; it beats switching apps when four games kick off at once.
Update apps the night before. A forced update at 7:25am before a 7:30 kick-off is a classic way to miss the opener.
Use Ethernet for the TV if you can. A 1080p sports stream needs roughly 10 to 15 Mbps, more for 4K, and Saturday-morning Wi-Fi in a busy house is often the bottleneck.
Expect a delay. Streams typically run 20 to 40 seconds behind the stadium, and a goal alert on your phone can beat the picture. Turn off score notifications from league apps during the match. Your friends on cable or an antenna will usually see it first.
