IPTV for NFL: The 2026 Channel Checklist, Sunday Ticket, RedZone

Short answer: to see every 2026 NFL window legally you need about eight "channels": CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC/ESPN, Prime Video, Netflix, NFL Network and, if you follow a team from elsewhere, Sunday Ticket. An antenna covers four of them free. The non-obvious catch is RedZone: the cheapest way to get it, NFL+ Premium, has historically streamed it live only on phones and tablets, so a TV setup usually means a $10.99 sports add-on on top of a live-TV plan.

The 2026 channel checklist

Every page selling "IPTV for NFL" promises the same thing: one login, every game. The honest version starts with a list of what you actually need to receive, because the league sells each window to a different company. The 2026 season kicked off on Wednesday 9 September with Patriots at Seahawks on NBC, and Netflix had the Week 1 game in Melbourne the next night.

Window Channel or service Free OTA? Cheapest paid route
Sunday 1pm / 4pm ET CBS, FOX (regional) Yes Paramount+ or Fox One if no signal
Sunday Night Football NBC, Peacock Yes Peacock Premium, $12.99/mo
Monday Night Football ESPN, some on ABC ABC games only Sling Essentials, $19.99/mo
Thursday Night Football Prime Video Home markets only Prime Video standalone, $8.99/mo
Netflix games (Week 1, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas, Week 18) Netflix Usually home markets Standard with ads, $8.99/mo
Out-of-market Sunday games NFL Sunday Ticket (YouTube) No Season pass, from about $240

Whip-around Sundays NFL RedZone No See the RedZone section

The home-market rule saves people money every week. Streaming-exclusive games on Prime and Netflix are normally simulcast on a local station in the two teams' home markets, so your own team's Thursday game may already be on the antenna. Check the local listing that week before paying. Our week-by-week NFL guide has the full schedule by window.

Start with the free half

CBS, FOX, NBC and ABC still carry the bulk of the season, including your local team's Sunday games, Sunday Night Football, ABC's Monday simulcasts, most playoff games and the Super Bowl. An indoor antenna for $20 to $40 works within roughly 30 miles of the transmitters; farther out, an attic or roof model is the better buy. Put your address into the FCC's DTV reception map first to see what reaches you, and our guide to the best antenna for local channels helps you match the model to the distance.

Want to record? An antenna DVR or a network tuner such as an HDHomeRun turns those four networks into something that behaves like an IPTV channel list on every TV in the house, with a guide and recordings, and no monthly live-TV bill.

Sunday Ticket: what it does and doesn't cover

Sunday Ticket is the only legal way to watch out-of-market Sunday afternoon games, and it's sold only through YouTube. Prices for 2026 depended on who you were:

Customer Quoted 2026 season price
New YouTube TV subscriber About $240, on top of YouTube TV
Returning subscriber About $378, on top of YouTube TV
Standalone on YouTube (no YouTube TV) Around $480
Verizon offer About $234, or $276 with RedZone

What it doesn't include matters as much. Sunday Ticket has no primetime games and blacks out whatever your local CBS and FOX stations show, so you still need the antenna and the streaming apps above. It's a Sunday-afternoon product only. For every tier and discount, see NFL Sunday Ticket 2026 price.

The patient fan's alternative is NFL+ Premium at $14.99 a month or $79.99 a year. It gives full replays of every game on a TV after the final whistle. If you can avoid scores until the evening, it's a third of the cheapest Sunday Ticket price.

Every legal way to get RedZone

ESPN bought RedZone's distribution from the league, and this is the first season it's producing the show; Scott Hanson still hosts. How you can buy it:

Route Price On a TV?
NFL+ Premium $14.99/mo or $79.99/yr Live RedZone has been phone/tablet only; check the app
Fubo Sports Plus add-on $10.99/mo on top of a Fubo plan Yes
YouTube TV Sports Plus About $10.99/mo on top of YouTube TV Yes
Sunday Ticket + RedZone bundle Higher Sunday Ticket tier Yes
ESPN Unlimited + NFL+ Premium bundle Launched at $39.99/mo Same NFL+ device limits apply

The cheapest RedZone on a big screen is a sports add-on bolted onto a live-TV plan you already have. If you don't have one, buying an $80-plus plan for RedZone alone is poor value; NFL+ Premium on a tablet propped next to the TV is the budget workaround a lot of fans use. More detail in our RedZone streaming guide.

Three cheapest legal combos

Using monthly plans only in the months each is needed (September to early January):

Fan Combo Season cost
Local team, every game Antenna, plus single months of Prime, Sling Essentials or Netflix when your team is on them About $20 to $45
Every primetime game Antenna, Prime (Sept-Dec), Sling Essentials (Sept-Jan), Netflix (Nov-Dec) About $135 to $155
Out-of-market fan with replays Antenna, NFL+ Premium annual, plus Sunday Ticket if you must see it live $80 (replays only) to about $560 (with standalone Sunday Ticket)

If you already pay for Prime or Netflix, knock those lines off. And since it's October, a fan starting now pays less than these full-season totals. The fuller breakdown by fan type is in the cheapest way to watch the NFL in 2026.

If you want one bill and one guide

Some people want exactly what the IPTV ads promise: a channel grid, a remote and no app-hopping. A licensed live-TV service is the legal version. YouTube TV, Fubo and DIRECTV's streaming plans carry CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC, ESPN and NFL Network in most markets, with a cloud DVR, and both YouTube TV and Fubo sell RedZone as an add-on.

Expect roughly $80 to $90 a month before add-ons. Over a five-month season with RedZone, that's around $450 to $500, and you still need Prime Video for Thursdays and Netflix for its games, because no live-TV service carries streaming exclusives. It's the most convenient setup and the most expensive. It makes sense if the household watches other live TV anyway.

Multiview is the other reason to pay: YouTube TV and Fubo both let you watch several Sunday games at once on supported devices, which is the closest legal thing to having four cable boxes.

Why "every game" IPTV fails at 1pm Sunday

The sellers ranking for this keyword hold no NFL rights. The league licenses its games to CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, Amazon, Netflix, YouTube and its own NFL+, and to nobody else. An offer of every game, RedZone and Sunday Ticket for $15 a month is reselling streams it has no permission to carry.

The NFL's schedule is uniquely bad for those services. Ten or more games start at the same minute, and tens of millions of viewers arrive together. The league and its partners run live anti-piracy monitoring on Sundays, so channels get cut mid-game. Annual plans prepaid in August have a habit of disappearing by November, and the payment methods these sellers prefer, such as crypto, gift cards or friends-and-family transfers, leave you with no chargeback route.

There's also less to save than the ads imply. A primetime fan's legal season costs about $150. A local fan's costs less than a single month of most "premium" IPTV offers.

Quick answers

What channels do I need to watch every NFL game in 2026? CBS, FOX, NBC and ABC (free with an antenna), ESPN, Prime Video, Netflix, Peacock for one late-season game, and Sunday Ticket for out-of-market Sunday afternoons.

How much is Sunday Ticket in 2026? About $240 for new YouTube TV subscribers, about $378 for returning ones, and around $480 standalone. Verizon customers had an offer at about $234.

What's the cheapest way to get RedZone? NFL+ Premium at $14.99 a month or $79.99 a year, but live RedZone has been limited to phones and tablets. On a TV, a $10.99 Sports Plus add-on to Fubo or YouTube TV is the usual route.

Does Sunday Ticket include primetime games? No. It covers out-of-market Sunday afternoon games only. Thursday, Sunday night and Monday games are on Prime, NBC and ESPN/ABC.

Can I watch the NFL with just an antenna? Most of it. CBS, FOX, NBC and ABC carry local Sunday games, Sunday Night Football, ABC's Monday games and the Super Bowl free.

Which live-TV services carry NFL Network? YouTube TV, Fubo and DIRECTV's streaming plans carry it in their standard line-ups, and NFL+ Premium includes it.

Are cheap NFL IPTV subscriptions legal? No. They hold no NFL rights, tend to fail at Sunday kick-offs, and offer no refunds.

NFL broadcast windows are fixed for the season, but individual games can be flexed between networks, and Sunday Ticket, RedZone and live-TV prices change each year. NFL+ device rules have changed before. Check the schedule and plan pages before paying. Checked October 2026.
